Some technologies, called exponential technologies, are revolutionizing companies all over the world and are changing the way they produce goods or provide services.

Olivier Crouzet World Pedagogical Director, École 42

With a scientific background, Olivier Crouzet got a Master degree as an IT engineer. After 2 years as system administrator in the 3rd French Internet service provider, he developed during thirteen years an IT training model, and has been for the last six years involved in École 42, the IT school founded by Xavier Niel, French telecom tycoon. While still making evolve the revolutionary Peer-Learning model of 42, Crouzet is also promoting evolution in the French education system through various conferences.

(SST), a company active in the design of solutions and services for digital innovation of the PA with a focus to healthcare, which became part of the Dedalus group in 2008. Alessandro Magnino is Head of Corporate Marketing and Public Sector of Vodafone Business with the responsibility of defining the offer and the Go-To-Market for services and solutions dedicated to Large Companies and Public Administration. He joined the company in 2012 and held positions in Marketing, Pre-Sales and Sales in the Vodafone Business area.
Before joining Vodafone has worked in Nokia and consulting in the Value Partners Group.

Riccardo Mascolo Head of Strategy and Business Development, Ericsson Italia

Riccardo Mascolo is Ericsson Strategy and Business Development Director for Italy and South East Mediterranean, responsible for the development and execution of the Ericsson strategy, supporting customers across 15 countries to grow their business.
Since joining Ericsson in 1995, he held various managerial positions in R&D, Technology, Marketing, Strategy and Business Development in Italy and abroad
Holds a Bachelor of Science, Electronic Engineering and Telecommunication from La Sapienza University of Rome and an Advanced TLC Specialization Degree from ISPT. Further specialised in Advanced Finance for Managers and in Strategic Marketing at Luiss Business School and SDA Bocconi.

Thomas Miao CEO Huawei Italy

CEO Huawei Italy since 2017, has 17 years of experience within the company where he held positions of increasing responsibility in various fields. He began his career as a Software Engineer at Huawei’s R&D center in Shanghai and then became the Vodacom customer manager at Huawei’s South Africa site in 2005. Before coming to Italy, he spent some years in Russia as Director of the Sales Management Department and then in Ukraine as CEO.

Massimo Moggi President & CEO WESTPOLE

He has a deep experience in strategic consulting and in management of ICT companies, in addition to holding the position of teacher in the course of “Innovation as an evolutionary process” at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in Pisa. Researcher, mentor and solution maker for industry 4.0, he has worked on important projects of Smart Manufacturing, advanced robotics and innovative IoT systems, exploiting the value of big data, machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Matteo Pertosa – CEO, MatiPay

Third generation entrepreneur, he actively collaborates in the development of ANGEL, the leading Italian holding company in the Railway, Aerospace and Aeronautical markets. He is Managing Director of MatiPay and of SITAEL, the largest Italian company with private capital in the space sector, in which he personally manages the IoT Business Unit for innovation and electric mobility. An expert in software development, electronics, user experience and business intelligence, he trained and led multidisciplinary teams in developing product innovations in various fields, following them from design to marketing.

Emanuele Preda – Board Member, Loop AI Labs

Serial entrepreneur who has founded and funded pioneering companies. From SMS.it in 1996, the first global mobile Internet provider, through Loop AI Labs, one of the first global cognitive computing platforms for enterprise process automation, and Bee, the forthcoming urban mobility business, Emanuele has been at the forefront of innovation in the intersection between business and technology. He has a BSc in Computer Science at the University of Bologna.

Fabio Vaccarono – Managing Director Italy for Google and member of Google Emea Management Board

Before, Vaccarono has held various Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director positions at Manzoni/Espresso Group, Il Sole 24 Ore Group, RCS Mediagroup, and Starcom Mediavest Group, Publicis Groupe. After graduating in Economics and earning a SDA Bocconi MBA, he has worked for the strategic consulting firm Bain&Company.


Mirko Pallera – Director Ninja Marketing 

Mirko Pallera is the Managing Director of Ninja.it, the online platform for the Digital Economy born from the evolution of Ninja Marketing, already a point of reference in Italy for digital marketing and innovative communication. Entrepreneur, sociologist and digital strategist for major brands including Barilla, Telecom, Unilever and Banca Mediolanum, he defines itself as a “social innovator” with the mission of improving the world thanks to the companies’ communication.

She has worked at Corriere della Sera since 2015.
She writes about technology and its impact on economics, politics and society.

Fabio TamburiniDirector, Il Sole 24 Ore

Born in 1954, in Milan, graduated in Law, director of Il Sole 24 Ore, Radiocor, Radio24 and 24 ORE Group publications since 12 September 2018. Tamburini, formerly in the Sole 24 Ore as correspondent on finance issues under the Gianni Locatelli direction, he was director until 2013 of the Radiocor news agency and Radio 24. Previously he was deputy director of the Ansa agency, deputy editor of the weekly newspaper Milano Finanza and of the MF newspaper (Class group).
